GARTH MORRISON (56-61) receives a Knighthood from the Queen.

In February it was announced that GARTH MORRISON (56-61) had been received by The Queen at Buckingham Palace where Her Majesty “conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle.” Later, in July, Sir Garth was formally installed in the Order of the Thistle at a service attended by The Queen at St. Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh. Later that day he and his wife attended a lunch given by The Queen at the Palace of Holyrood House.
