21/08/2011 Pangbourne vocabulary
OPs help requested in compiling a collection of unque College words and phrases.

For a forthcoming feature in the OP Magazine and for inclusion in the illustrated history of the College which is currently in preparation, OPs are asked to send in any unique Pangbourne words that they may recall together with their equivalent in "normal" English.

Examples (these from the late-1950s) might include "divisions" (houses), "doggies" (fags), "ackers" "heads" and "cabins" and "the 100%".

Contributions should be added to the "Memories of Pangbourne" section on this website - together with your name and the dates you were at the College.
