21/01/2011 Over 60s lunch a big success
Bangers-and-mash at the Turf Club in London.

33 OPs over the age of 60 plus the Headmaster Thomas Garnier and Hon Vice President Lionel Stephens met for a most enjoyable informal lunch on January 20 at the Turf Club, Carlton House Terrace in central London.

The event was the idea of Chairman Mark Dumas (64-68) who is a member of the club and Aidrian Stow (54-58) who is the OP Society Decade Rep for the 1950s. The great value lunch in august surroundings brought together a wide range of OPs - everyone from Keith Evans (33-37) to Willie Shuttleworth (66-70) who is not quite 60 yet but is a member of the Turf Club.

Many familiar OP faces were on show but among some newish ones were William Raynor (58-61), Guy Realf (59-63), Graham Hart (51-56) and Charles Du Cane (53-56).

A few photos of the occasion were taken and will be posted in the Gallery before long.
