Children's book publisher Kevin Price (76-81) has a record sales day in west London.


OP Kevin Price, currently on a nationwide tour of Waterstone's book stores, notched up record sales for a day while visiting the Chiswick branch of the store October 22.

Helped by a sunny day, plenty of customers and the support of OPs Robin Knight (56-61) and Anthony Clifford (75-82), Kevin sold almost 70 copies of the two children's books he had on sale - 'The Beauty Contest at the Zoo' and his latest offering 'The Solar System.'

Kevin, who worked in the construction industry for many years, set up his own publishing company KAMA Publishing in 2010 and so far has produced two books for young readers. Based in Norwich, he expects many more titles will follow.
