26/03/2011 OP Reunion lunch in New Zealand set for April 21
A Reunion of OPs living in New Zealand will take place on April 21 at the Royal Yacht Squadron in Auckland.

About 35 OPs are known to be living in New Zealand. The OP Rep in the country, Nick Edwards (55-58) jnedwards@xtra.co.nz is organising the event together with Robin Paine (55-58) and will be contacting OPs with the details.

Earthquake stories are likely to feature at the lunch. Several OPs live on South Island including Keith Mann (45-49), David Kent (39-43) and Oliver Walton (01-05). Keith got in touch with Lionel Stephens to let him know that his home was "livable and operating efficiently...after our rather violent wobbles." Nick Edwards' wife Yoko was caught up in the recent Japanese earthquake during a recent visit to Tokyo.

Venue:  The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron,  West Haven Marina,  Auckland.
 
Time:  Gathering at 1215 hrs, 21st April 2011, at the main Members Bar, before moving to the Restaurant for Lunch.
 
Lunch:  Choice of two fish dishes, wine and coffee, the cost for which will be divided by the number attending.  (Approximately $40)
