30th anniversary of Mike Hailwood's last win in the Isle of Man TT festival remembered by the current MotoGP world champion

Today's (June 8) start of the Isle of Man TT festival is being marked by a visit by MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi to the island where Mike Hailwood, the four-time 500cc grand prix world champion, cemented his legend. 

Hailwood's greatest battles on the Isle of Man where with Giacomo Agostini, the most successful grand prix motocycle racer of all time. Agolstini will be accompanying Rossi on his visit to the island today.

Hailwood went on to race cars at Formula One grand prix level and was killed in a road accident in 1981.
