Latest one-man exhibition opens at Tryon Gallery in London

A new exhibition of paintings by the noted sea and landscape artist John Webster (46-50) has opened at the Tryon Gallery, 7 Bury Street, St. James's, London SW1Y 6AL. It closes on March 25th.

Paintings in the exhibition include scenes from the Isles of Scilly, Iona, Bamburgh, north Norfolk, Falmouth, Meonstoke and Burnham Overy Staithe. Prices range from £520 to £1,900.

During a 40-year career in the Royal Navy, Vice Admiral Sir John Webster KCB always had painting as his "hinterland." Following his retirement from the Navy he has had a series of one man exhibitions in London with the Tryon team every couple of years since the 1980s.

John is an elected member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists, a former Chairman of the Armed Forces Art Society and a former Chairman of the Board of Governors at Pangbourne College. His work is in many collections including HM The Queen, HRH The Prince of Wales, The Corporation of Trinity House and The Royal Naval Submarine Museum.
