Illustrated History of Pangbourne to be published in 2016

A contract to publish a coffee table style illustrated hsitory of Pangbourne College in 2016 ahead of the school's centenary was signed on October 21.

The book will be published by James & James which has produced many similar histories and will be written and compiled by Robin Knight (56-61), President of the OP Society and a professional writer.

The new book will complement and take forward Lionel Stephens' History of Pangbourne College which ends in 1989. It is planned to include reminiscences and material provided by OPs of all generations. Contributions will be sought sometime during the 2013-14 period.

The text will be completed by January, 2015, and the book will be published early in 2016 ahead of the Centenary and marketed by James & James.
