Girls OP Hockey has been in the balance for many years, however, this year we finally organised a date and played a match against the current 1^st 11. We managed to drag along a few old faces, (leavers of 2005 through to 2009), of which a few probably hadn’t seen their sports kit in about four years! 

We OPs lost 6-0, although without Philippa Allen (goalkeeper) making some excellent saves, the score line would have been a lot worst! However, as we had expected, the College girls who train every week and who are again the holders of the Berkshire Cup had the upper hand with bags of skill and fitness!

Our aim is to definitely try and make this an annual occurrence with the College, as it was a great afternoon, with plenty of good humour and more importantly it got the OPs together to have a good catch up! One idea is to merge the OP hockey and rugby on the same day, which would bring everyone together and hopefully result in more OPs coming along.
